Meeting recordings nobody rewatches, turned into notes
Recording a meeting is easy and almost nobody watches the recording afterwards. What people actually want is the decision, the owner, and the deadline — three lines buried somewhere in fifty minutes of discussion.
TranscribeX transcribes the recording your meeting tool already produced. Zoom and Teams typically export MP4 or M4A, Meet saves an MP4 to Drive, and browser recorders produce WEBM; all of them upload as-is. No bot joins the call and nothing connects to your calendar — you stay in control of which recordings leave your machine.
With speaker detection enabled the transcript reads as minutes rather than monologue: each participant's contributions are separated, so it is clear who committed to what. Export TXT, trim it down to decisions and action items, and paste it wherever your team keeps its notes.

Frequently asked questions
No. Nothing connects to your call. You record the meeting with your own tool and upload the resulting file, which keeps the whole process under your control.
Anything your tool exports. Zoom and Teams usually produce MP4 or M4A, Google Meet saves MP4 to Drive, and browser-based recorders often produce WEBM — all of these upload directly.
Speakers are separated and labelled as Speaker A, Speaker B, and so on. Names are not detected automatically, so you map them once when editing the notes.
Yes — this is the most common use. Export as TXT, keep the decisions and action items, and drop the rest. It is far faster than writing minutes from memory.
Files are processed securely and deleted afterwards, and no account is created. For meetings covered by a strict internal policy, confirm that third-party processing is permitted before uploading.
